White cataracts present a challenge during the capsulorhexis due to the limited visualization. Several techniques and stains, like trypan blue, were developed to assist in the capsulotomy. However, using low dispersive OVDs in white cataract cases may raise the Argentinean Flag Sign. The surgeon explains how to manage and avoid this dreaded complication. thank you very much for this case.i used to give mannitol 20 % .100 c c one or two bottles and small capsulorhexis. is it useful to give mannitol before the operation?
