I agree with Brandon. I have been performing 23g PPL for a while but usually limit them to a small piece of nuclear material and or significant retained cortex. I use the fragmatome for larger nucleus to avoid intraop trauma due to excessive movement noted with 23g cutter.
Did you open a 20G port for the fragmatome? If so why not just introduce the frag earlier as this would cut the operative time and reduce the number of times the lens has to be picked up again.
