Trans-Scleral Surgery

Thank you for sharing your experience. Since 1996 I have preferred use the scleral tunnel over the scleral sutures. I think it's less prone to puncture the globe, but special care must be taken in proper positioning over the retinal tears to avoid poorly covered tears. I never has used guarded needle drainage but it's a technique that probably incorporate in my scleral surgeries. Thank you again.
