Traumatic Cataract with Vitreous in the AC - Part 3: Vitreous Extraction

After the IOL is centered and the iris anchored, Dr. Condon instills Triescence (Alcon, Fort Worth, TX) to stain the vitreous material in the anterior chamber. A vitrector is inserted through the pars plana to clear the AC of any residual strands of vitreous strands and viscoelastic.
