Traumatic Cataract with Vitreous in the AC - Part 1: Corralling Vitreous, Viscodissection, CTR

A 62-year-old male was hit in the eye with a fishing sinker and presents with a large iridodialysis, blown pupil, and vitreous visible underneath the bridge of iris in the zone of iridodialysis. Dr. Condon uses VISCOAT OVD (Alcon, Fort Worth, TX) to tamponade and corral the vitreous in the periphery. Iris hooks and a standard CTR are placed to stabilize the bag prior to lens removal.
