by David Brown, MD
Optos introduced retinal imaging with ultra-widefield scanning laser technology to support practitioners diagnosing, analyzing, documenting and monitoring ocular pathology that may first present in the periphery. These conditions may otherwise go undetected using traditional examination techniques and equipment.
David M. Brown, MD, FACS, of Retina Consultants of Houston, claims that the ultra-widefield retinal view provided by the 200Tx has changed the way he diagnoses and treats his patients. He has noticed improvement in the level of care he is providing to his patients, and now uses the 200Tx on all of my patients.
