The authors discuss the use of corneal collagen crosslinking linking (CXL) as a therapeutic treatment for keratoconus and post-excimer laser ectasia. It is believed that progression of keratoconus can be stabilized by using an ultra-violet laser to excite photosensitive riboflavin diffused in the cornea, subsequently stiffening and flattening the cornea.

this is the first elaborate video on cross linking.excellent demonstration.the commentary calls the u v a source as laser, i am not sure if that is correct.
Congratulations to David Tobouland and collegues for such magnificent description of cross-linking My only suggestion should be to protect the limbus in order to avoid radiation to limbal steem cells, and to reduce the risk of limbal disfunction.

Great video and a fantastic graphical representation of the process. However I would strongly recommend someone with a medical background to do the commentary. It sounded very amateurish. Perhaps a media savvy medical student?
