Complete Cortical Removal with J-Cannula (In 30 Seconds or Less)
Steven Dewey, MD, presents his cortical clean-up technique using a McIntyre-Binkhorst irrigating cannula attached to 5-milliliter luer lock syringe filled with BSS. This approach is safe for the capsule, fast, simple, and the J-shaped cannula is particularly useful as loosening subincisional cortical adhesions when hydrodissection is insufficient.

Why didn't I used that cannula before :)
Katena has the cannulas: Item K7-5440 Right, K7-5450 Left K7-5445, and is working on a smaller curve to go through a smaller incision. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.
where can we find this canula ?
hi, i've been useing the j cannula and the results have been fantastic!! I took a little time to learn how to manage the power on the syringe but it's a rapid learn curve. Fast, secure and cheap way to have a clean surgery!! thanks for the tips... you're the guy!!!
These cannulas are available from ASICO, Katena and Rhein. 26-gauge McIntyre-Binkhorst J-cannula. ASICO has a sandblasted variety which is useful for mild polishing.
