Microsensors provide a novel means of monitoring the IOP of patients with glaucoma. Moderator Steven Vold, MD, Chief Medical Editor of Glaucoma Today, interviews Burkhard Dick, MD, PhD, about a new microsensor that can be implanted in an eye during cataract surgery. This device, which has already received the CE Mark in Europe, allows 24-hour monitoring. Dr. Dick also discusses future trials for the implementation of these devices.
