by Arshad M. Khanani, MD

As his amount of clinical experience with aflibercept increases, Arshad M. Khanani, MD, of Sierra Eye Associates, Reno, Nevada, USA, has noticed that for some patients improvements may not be sustained when treatment is given at 8 week intervals as directed by the product label. The statement should be, in a non-previous responders to Ranibizumab or Bevacizumab, Aflibercept may not be dosed every 8 weeks, and the mix of patients were 19 switch and 2 naive, and the naive ones had the results published in VIEW in a q8w regimen
