Richard Mackool, MD, presents a 49-year old female with a PSC cataract. Through a small incision, Dr. Mackool performs the soft shell technique in which ProVisc OVD displaces a small amount of VISCOAT OVD against the endothelium. A Mackool Big Ball Chopper is used to manipulate the lens while high-vacuum phaco-aspiration is performed. An AcrySof IQ Toric IOL is inserted through the microincision and dialed into position.
