3+NS with AcrySof IQ ReSTOR

In this dense cataract patient, Ramon Lorente demonstrates his 2.2-mm clear cornea wound incision technique. After performing cortical cleaving hydrodissection and hydrodelination, Dr. Lorente verifies that the lens moves freely by manually rotating the nucleus. A vertical chop technique is used to remove the cataract. Then, the posterior capsule is polished to remove remnant cortical fibers and an AcrySof IQ ReSTOR is implanted in the bag.
