Cataract +3 grade: AcrySof IQ

Jeewan S. Titiyal, MD, presents an elderly patient with a dense nucleus removed with torsional ultrasound. ProVisc maintains the anterior chamber during the capsulorhexis step and manual rotation of the lens confirms that the nucleus is free from cortical adhesions. Dr. Titiyal performs phaco chop with OZil IP assistance to disassemble the nucleus. An AcrySof IQ IOL gently unfolds in the bag while Dr. Titiyal removes OVD and remnant lens epithelial cells.
