“Neighborhood” Technique IOL Exchange with AcrySof IQ Toric IOL

Richard Tipperman, MD, presents a hyperopic LASIK patient 10-yrs postop that underwent a PPV with ILM peel and now requires an IOL exchange. Viscodissection is performed to lift the capsule off the lens and the lens is rotated out of the bag. The new implant is inserted as a safeguard for the capsule while the old lens is cut in half.
