Pseudoexfoliation with AcrySof IQ Toric IOL

In this patient with pseudoexfoliation, Richard Mackool, MD, uses an AcrySof IQ Toric IOL to manage the astigmatism. Because of the weak zonules, the capsule is stained with trypan blue to aid in visualization of the capsulorhexis should hooks be necessary. Removal of this dense nucleus is assisted with a big-ball chopper and OZil IP.
