Yuri Takhtaev, MD, performs microcoaxial surgery for a 4+ white cataract. After a 2.2mm main incision is made, Dr. Takhtaev simultaneously makes two side port incisions. The nucleus is chopped into five pieces and removed with torsional phacoemulsification. Using a counter-action technique, an AcrySof IQ IOL is inserted with a D-cartridge. Viewed 19818 times.
