Case 2 - Wet AMD
In this case from the Advanced Retina Diagnotics Webinar, Brandon Lujan, MD, presents the case of a 78-year-old woman previously treated for wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Looking at the results from the Cirrus HD-OCT, loss of tissue is noted peripherally and five cross-section B-scans show thickening of the retinal pigment epithelium, intra-retinal edema and retinal tubulation. Diagnosis is aided by high-definition images and advanced visualization modes.
