Mapping Perfusion Density

  Channels: Retina | Posted 8/9/2017

Richard B. Rosen, MD, DSc(Hon), describes his talk at ASRS in which he spoke about the use of a normative database to look at perfusion density mapping as a way of understanding the extent of nonperfusion in patients with diabetes. Referencing a mapping system he developed, Dr. Rosen explains the difference between perfusion deviation mapping and perfusion density mapping and the role of optical coherence tomography angiography in judging the extent and abnormality of an individual patient when looking at their perfusion density.
